Worked with a diverse population of elderly with a variety of diagnosis' and have enjoyed being able to show empathy, sympathy and give the care that they require to succeed and function with as much independence as possible in everyday life.
Highlights of my experience duties
•Providing diverse support services to hospice patients, including personal hygiene assistance, light meal preparation, errands, bed making, medication administration, and general companionship.
•Communicating with caregivers, families, and health care providers to ensure appropriate patient treatment and offer support and encouragement in stressful and emotional situations.
•Assisting Alzheimer/Dementia client in their daily living routine activities includes, feeding, grooming, bathing, vital signs, oral care, emotional support etc.
•Assisting client in daily exercise, charting and documentation of patient care

• Empty urinary drainage bags/assisting in changing ostomy bags, measuring of fluid intake and output

Helping client to brush teeth
